Vastu tip for Educational Progress

Appropriate direction and structure for any study:

Children’s educational progress is intricately linked to the comprehensive arrangement of the North-East direction in your house. The strategic placement of three essential elements – access, water, and worship – in the northeast direction is particularly auspicious for overall progress. According to Vastu Shastra, the northeast direction, situated between North and East, holds significance as the location of the water element. Establishing underground water storage in this direction is considered a reliable assurance of wealth and success. Additionally, aligning our worship practices in the northeast direction enhances the efficacy of prayers and Ishchintan, yielding positive outcomes. From a classical standpoint, if the north-east direction in Vastu is free from defects, it fosters good educational progress.

Moreover, the impact of sunlight rays on underground water in the North-East direction is noteworthy. When sunlight reaches this water, ultraviolet rays are absorbed, while the remaining light rays are reflected. These reflected rays are crucial in stimulating brain cells, providing energy, and contributing to increased concentration, cognition, and thinking power. Beyond these physical attributes, the northeast direction is a source of positive energy for the universe. By studying facing the northeast direction, this positive energy enters our body through the Sahasrara chakra, invigorating both body and mind. The result is heightened efficiency and beneficial academic progress.

North-East direction is expected to have an entrance, living room, open and sloping space, maximum number of doors, windows, bathroom, god house, etc. But if things such as the toilet, kitchen, bedroom, staircase, etc. are located in the northeast part of your house, the educational progress of children is seen in such places.

Many times, even after studying well, one may feel that something is wrong. The fruits of hard work may not materialize, and there are instances when the information studied is not retained. The North-East is responsible for these challenges. By implementing non-destructive measures to rectify architectural defects in the northeast direction, the educational problems caused by Vastu Dosha can be addressed, and obstacles to educational progress can be removed.

Children’s study room according to
Vastu Shastra for Education

Children’s backs should preferably face northwest, west, south, or southwest. A strong foundation supports a sense of security. Ensure that the space in front of them is unobstructed. Create a pleasant environment with Vastu Shastra; children should face the northeast while studying or walking towards the northeast. Additionally, consider keeping items such as Goddess Saraswati’s image and an educational pyramid for added positive influence. A crystal-like Amethyst or Lapis should be surrounded or worn as a pendant or bracelet.

To ensure success in exams for children, follow the steps below:

  • Every student should practice pranayama with deep breathing five times before starting their study sessions. Additionally, chanting the Saraswati Mantra 5, 11, 21, or 27 times can enhance educational progress by fostering concentration and perception.
  • Parents of students preparing for 10th, 12th, or degree exams should take note: avoid burdening your child with unrealistic expectations, and refrain from comparing them with other children. Instead, support your children in pursuing their interests.
  • Chanting the Kuldevi – Deity and Ishtadevata mantras by both the children and parents maintains a sattvic and healthy atmosphere in the house.
  • According to Numerology, study your child’s fate considering the influence of Rahu and Ketu. Examine the positions of Saturn and Mars, and chant hymns and mantras accordingly.
  • Recite Ganapati Atharvashirsha and Navagraha Stotra daily for auspicious results.
  • In some families, parents should consider counseling to strengthen their children’s confidence.
  • Exploring Pidros (family histories) and past regrets may provide insights and solutions to current challenges.
